Fifteen years after we met, we gave ourselves a name: APT Theater.
We are Kate Dickinson and Justin Goodemoot. We grew up three fields apart in rural Michigan but didn't stay there.
We embarked on separate, but weirdly parallel, careers which collided after discovering we wanted the same things for what we individually created. After an initial, daring collaboration, we vowed to become allies.
We want our original works:
To be examined by an audience throughout the entire development process;
To be performed and influenced by an expanding network of artists and collaborators;
To remind people of things they never realized;
To be remembered.
